Decagram ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Decagram app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the game and improve your experience:
- Account data — if you choose to sign in, we store a username and an authentication token (via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In). We never see your Apple or Google password.
- Gameplay data — scores, words found, modes played, and timestamps. This powers leaderboards and your personal stats.
- Device information — platform (iOS / Android), OS version, and app version. Used for crash reporting and compatibility.
- Crash and error logs — anonymous stack traces collected when the app crashes. These contain no personal information.
Information we do not collect
- Your real name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact us directly)
- Your precise location
- Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
- Any payment information (the app is free)
How we use your information
- Display your scores on global and daily leaderboards
- Preserve your personal stats between devices
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- Understand aggregate gameplay trends to improve the game
We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
Decagram uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Data retention
Gameplay data and account information are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@decagram.ca. We will process your request within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Decagram is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict how it is processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@decagram.ca.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
